item 1: introductory remarks. Goal of project is to create model of turn-taking, using incremental processing techniques / goal of project is to create incremental processing techniques, testing them with their performance at modelling turn-taking.


item 2: things that have to be decided soon-ish:

  • language
  • domain
  • depth of processing
  • architecture for module communication
  • existing resources to use

item 3: did a first brainstorming on requirements on architecture. how are messages channeled through modules? some ideas / to do's:

  • check out if OAA can be used after all. (state checker that percolates messages about dead hypotheses could be (priviledged) module that works on whiteboard.)
  • use threads in chart parser? every new branch is its own thread?
